The McGill Alumni Association (MAA) fosters long-term relationships with McGill's alumni through its various programs. Its mission is to enable alumni, students, faculty and staff, and friends of McGill University to maintain their contact with the University and each other for their shared benefit and for the vital support and development of McGill.
The Association is run by a core of professional staff in Montreal and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. Founded in 1857 and officially incorporated in 1880 as the Graduates' Society of McGill University, it changed its name to the McGill Alumni Association in 1995. The MAA elects five of its members to McGill's Board of Governors. These representatives participate as members of several University committees. Our organization also recognizes the volunteer efforts of its worldwide alumni, faculty, staff, and students at its annual Honours & Awards Dinner. Learn more >>
