These matching gifts are an important source of funding for McGill and an easy way for you to increase the financial impact that your contribution has on the University and its students – all at no extra cost to you!
Matching gifts are an integral and untapped source of fundraising dollars for McGill. If every donor who is able to have their gifts matched actually took advantage of their program, the University will have an additional $750,000 each year to inject directly into campus life!

If your employer is not listed in our database, you may still be able to take advantage of the matching gift program of a parent, subsidiary or affiliate company. Ask your human resources department for more information.
Please note that matching gifts will be directed to support the same area of McGill as your personal gift, unless your company’s policy specifies otherwise. Gifts of currency and often gifts of publicly traded securities are eligible to be matched. Company matching gift policies vary; consult your employer’s policy for additional details.
