While McGill’s Faculty of Religious Studies attracts talented graduate students from across Canada and around the world, many of these bright, promising scholars simply do not receive the financial support they need to focus on their studies. This leaves many students struggling to cover the costs of tuition, books, research support, and of course, basic living expenses, such as rent, groceries and transportation.
Through the new Religious Studies Student Dissertation Fund, professors and staff in the Faculty want to help ease the financial hardship that is faced by so many of their doctoral students. Money raised will make a concrete difference in the lives of divinity students by providing much-needed funding during the final stages of their dissertation research.
Please make your gift to support doctoral students in the Faculty of Religious Studies. Your donations will help these deserving students make major contributions to our world – conducting groundbreaking research, educating the next generation of scholars, and enhancing our understanding of religion and its impact on society.
