The Campus Community Committee’s fundraising efforts are instrumental to the overall success of Campaign McGill. A high level of philanthropic participation from the internal McGill community sends a strong message that the University, already recognized internationally, is also highly regarded by its most discerning audience.
However, to achieve our ambitious fundraising goal, we need the help of committed volunteers to generate awareness about the Campaign and our upcoming outreach events. By speaking with colleagues at formal and informal occasions, our volunteers play a vital role in fostering support for McGill and the Campaign.
Time commitments may include thrice-yearly all-member meetings at times convenient to the volunteer committee membership. All other communications will be by way of email and/or conference calls. Volunteers are asked, when possible, to serve until the anticipated conclusion of the Campaign in 2013.
Development and Alumni Relations will provide volunteers with full support for all activities. This includes periodic comprehensive briefings on emerging Campus Community Committee goals and strategies, background information and speaking notes (as requested) for public occasions.
