Sending your student off to university is both an exciting and stressful time, especially when it involves moving to a new city, province or country. From the time your son or daughter applies to McGill to when they graduate, questions will inevitably arise on a variety of topics. When they do, the McGill Parents Association is here to help.

Our web portal is designed to help you navigate the many McGill programs and services offered to your student and to you as a parent. It is also designed help address common questions and concerns. Campus Safety
McGill University Security Services provides services and expertise to ensure the safety and security of the University community. Uniformed personnel patrol the campus, control building access, transport students with disabilities and respond to incidents and emergencies. Each campus has a Security Operations Centre that functions 24/7 and responds to the emergency number at all hours. Learn more >>

Libraries and Bookstores
The McGill University Library provides comprehensive information resources and services to meet the learning and research needs of all McGill students. With a collection of over six million items spread across 13 branches at its downtown and Macdonald campuses, the Library has the largest library collection in Quebec and is one of the largest academic libraries in Canada. Official Hotels Program
