Dear Alumni and Friends,
Summer is almost on its way out, and the Fall season will soon settle in. It’s time to put away the bathing suits and sandals, and take out the warm socks and woolly sweaters! Don’t fret though, ‘cause the McGill Alumni Association of Ottawa has put together an exciting social calendar that will get you out and mingling.
Our activities include a mix of “classics” and “newbies”, and should appeal to everyone. Our popular activities include our Wicked Wednesday Pub Nights, our September pub crawl, and our Fall hike in the Gatineau park (which is timed just right in the season to enjoy the colourful foliage).
If you’re an art aficionado, then you’d be happy to attend our gallery tour in September or the concert in October led by Julian Armour, a McGill alumnus and the current Artistic Director of the Chamber Players of Canada.
Our speed networking event is intended to bring together people from all professional communities to share and exchange career tips, leads and/or just provide an opportunity to understand what each do, day in, day out. Or else join us as we cheer on the Ottawa Senators to a victory.
The Association’s board members are always thinking of new ways to entertain and activities that would appeal to the alumni members. We always welcome your suggestions and ideas for events. If you’d like to be part of the branch executive, or volunteer at an event, don’t hesitate to email us.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
