Around the world, McGill volunteers organize hundreds of events every year in an effort to keep alumni, students, parents and friends engaged and connected. Although the Development and Alumni Relations Office at McGill provides support to volunteers by advertising events and providing online registration, they rely on volunteers to coordinate all aspects of the events they initiate.
Staff at McGill also organize events around the world and in Montreal, and they work with volunteers to make sure events organized by volunteers and McGill are complimentary. Staff at McGill will take care of events with McGill VIPs, professors and star alumni. Volunteers will often organize social and cultural events that are of interest to the McGill community in their area.
To better assist McGill volunteers in taking the lead on their events, we have provided material to help with event planning and marketing.
