Should I register for all my events?
Registration is required for all events. However, you will only have a ticket at the venue for Sports Hall of Fame luncheon, Spotlight on Schulich concert, Leacock Luncheon, Red & White Dinner, Beatty Memorial Lecture, Redmen football game and William Macdonald Luncheon. All other events, such as Classes Without Quizzes, are ticketless events. Each location will have a complete list of registered participants at the door.

Why should I register online?
It has the advantage of being simple and inexpensive and providing an email confirmation of your registration within seconds. It is an easy way for us to process your registration and it also ensures you will get an email reminder of the events you are attending.

Is the online registration procedure secure?
McGill does not store any card information on our systems. All credit card payment processing is done through the Moneris payment service which is compliant with credit card industry requirements.

Can I bring my spouse/friend to an event?
Absolutely! Please provide your guests’ names when you register for Homecoming. If you do not know who you will be bringing at the time you register, please update us by calling.

Is parking available on/near campus?
With the Greening McGill initiative, parking is no longer available on campus. There is metered parking on streets around the downtown campus and there are private lots charging by the hour or the day. The hotel hosting the Red & White Dinner has valet parking. There is ample parking available around the Macdonald Campus.

What is the dress code for the Red & White Dinner and the Leacock Luncheon?
The dress code is business casual.

Can I make a seating request for the Dinner or the Leacock Luncheon?
We automatically seat graduates of the same year and degree together with their guests. Beyond that, we do our best to accommodate special seating requests. Seating is assigned, so we ask you to register early to ensure that your seating request is honoured. Please call us at 514-398-8288, or toll-free at 1-800-567-5175, to inform us of any updates.

Are there meal choices at the Sports Hall of Fame, Leacock Luncheon and Red & White Dinner?
Menus are pre-set and the hotels offer a vegetarian option only. Kosher meals must be requested two weeks in advance and the cost is $140. If you have any serious food allergies, please let us know so we can alert EMT staff.
