The McGill Alumni and Friends Travel program offers tours to individuals who share your interests. We work with carefully selected, experienced tour operators, and are the liaison between them and you. Tours are open to McGill alumni, their families and friends.
Our program offers a variety of activity levels that fall into the following categories, indicated within the brochure:
Most programs are considered moderately strenuous. A standard daily program may involve one to three miles of walking, often on uneven terrain. It is recommended that participants be physically fit and in active good health.
Reservations are granted on a first-come, first served basis, and are not confirmed without deposits. Sign up early for your favourite trips as many of our programs fill up very quickly. To request individual trip brochures please use the attached tear-off order form at the back of this brochure. Not all brochures are automatically mailed to everyone; therefore, to ensure that you receive information about each trip that interests you, please make your request early. Brochures are generally printed six to nine months in advance and will be sent to you as soon as they are available.
You can also visit our website, aoc.mcgill.ca/travel, any time for up-to-date information on trips, to browse program offerings by season or geographic region, to peruse photo albums created by our travellers and staff, and to read comments from your fellow alumni about their experiences. Trip costs quoted in this brochure are per person and based on double occupancy (PP/DO). Dates and prices are subject to change without notice.
